The Los Angeles chapter is working to cut carbon emissions in buildings and work toward an equitable, sustainable future for all Angelenos in the places we live, work, learn, and play in.
LEED certified buildings have been helping California meet AB 32 Scoping Plan targets of reducing GHG emissions by 40% below 1990 levels by 2030 primarily through energy efficiency improvements of an average of 27% above the reference code.[
The Trust Building’s renovation preserved a historical building while holding the embodied carbon, giving it a second life.
