About this event
Together we are striving to increase awareness and access to these solutions to make clean construction a reality, position L.A. as a global leader on this issue, and change the narrative of dirty, polluting construction sites in our cities. In our first meeting, we focused on what types of equipment are available in the marketplace, how to address charging infrastructure, and ways to integrate electrified equipment into projects and job sites. This round, we will be unveiling a best practices guide and discussing opportunities to put “boots on the ground,” to integrate electrified construction equipment into upcoming projects. The event will be supplemented with topic focused breakouts for networking. We hope you can join us!

About the Electrified Construction Coalition (ECC)
USGBC-LA, in collaboration with the City of Los Angeles and local leaders throughout the real estate and construction industry, has formed a coalition to bring electrified construction equipment to the greater L.A. region. This includes increasing access to equipment as well as addressing cost, education, environmental quality, and infrastructure.
Today there is little knowledge of infrastructure in place to support onsite implementation and use of this equipment in the U.S. As a result, the availability of equipment is also highly limited. Together we strive to increase awareness and access to these solutions to make clean construction a reality, position L.A. as a global leader on this issue, and change the narrative of dirty, polluting construction sites in our cities.
