About this event

Contractors are responsible for completing just a handful of LEED credits, but these credits also have some of the most extensive documentation requirements. The key to successful LEED submission is understanding the nuances of credit requirements, developing a workflow process early, and efficiently compiling and analyzing the necessary backup. After instruction, there will be an interactive activity with a sample submittal and calculator to practice.

This course is based on knowledge and experience in certifying dozens of commercial buildings and provides tried-and-true tips and methodologies to reliably and conveniently track and document the needed data to comply with LEED prerequisites and credits in USGBC building certifications. Both general contractors and subcontractor representatives will benefit from this training.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding the nuances of credit requirements
  • How to develop a workflow process early
  • How to efficiently compile and analyze the necessary backup data

Prerequisites:

This course assumes that students have some prior knowledge of the LEED programs offered by the USGBC. LEED Accreditation is recommended though not required.

Location: Online
