VCA Green, a division of VCA Code, provides a full scope of green building consulting and field verification and testing services. It is our mission to help clients achieve sustainability goals and long- term cost savings for their projects through best practices and budget efficiency.

VCA Green delivers expert consulting and technical services for green building certification, such as LEED®, GreenPoint Rated, and NGBS and offers code compliance services for CALGreen and Title 24. We also offer HERS, Commissioning, Energy Modeling, Lighting Acceptance Testing and training to provide a complete sustainable service package from project conception through building operations. Our productive practice starts with the philosophy, “With the right approach, green makes great sense.” Over the last 30 years, VCA professionals have focused on results-oriented solutions, working with building owners, developers, architects and code officials to achieve optimal outcomes. With experience on over 300 projects and thousands of residential units, our team licensed engineers and licensed architects has the depth of experience and a commitment to quality and responsiveness that leads to success. Our expertise is far reaching, yet we are small enough to provide senior level attention to your project.

VCA’s Principal is Moe Fakih. As Principal, Mr. Fakih, MPA, LEED AP, CGBP, BPI, leads the firm’s green consulting and commissioning efforts for architects, developers, and building owners. He has presented on CALGreen and various green building topics and served as a former Market Leader Advisory Board Member and Vice Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council Orange County Chapter. The Verde Division of VCA Green is led by Robyn Vettraino, LEED AP Homes, LEED AP BD+C, SITES, Green Rater. The division maintains offices in Illinois and Hawaii in addition to Orange County. Verde is well known for its expertise from an architecture and building design perspective. Verde specializes in LEED Certification for homes, commercial interior projects, new construction, core and shell and neighborhood development (land use). In addition it provides SITES AP Inaugural Class, WELL Certification, Fitwell Certification, High Performance Sustainable Building Criteria, Guiding Principles Assessment, and Sustainable Land Use Planning.
